Welcoming Dr. Matt Pratt-Hyatt Back to RTL

I’m back!

Let me re-introduce myself for those that don’t know me yet.  I’m Matt Pratt-Hyatt and I’m the new Executive Scientific Consultant for RealTime Labs (RTL).  Let me say, I am excited about this new opportunity, but I will get into that in a minute.  I have been in the toxin field for about 12 years now, and I have been in functional/integrative/alternative medicine for about eight years. I am dedicated with the idea of providing personalized medicine to everyone.  Since everyone is unique, we should be able to tailor treatments to meet the unique needs of our patients, and this has been my goal for the last 20 years.  I now take the combined power of genetics, metabolomics, and small molecule detection to help provide patients with care that is truly personalized to their own health. 

I am extremely excited to be a part of RTL again.  For the last 17 years, they have been making huge pushes to improve the lives of those affected by toxic mold exposure.  They have a passion for knowledge and the truth, which matches my own, and for years I have admired their scientific skills demonstrated in their research papers.  I hope to continue this tradition of providing academic findings to the community through our research. 

For the last two years on my “sabbatical” I have been learning about the environmental side of mold, bacteria, and VOCs. I have been working for an environmental inspection and remediation company dedicated to help people improve their lives. I’ve been crawling through crawlspaces and climbing through attics. Learning how to find mold in homes, how to test for it, and speaking with those affected by mold has been an extremely fulfilling experience.  I feel that it will help me in my new tenure here at RTL.

We are in the process of starting a lot of new things here at RTL.  The item I am most excited about is our RTL Research Awards.  More details about this will be announced in February, but I am very excited about it.  Second will be our Toxin: Assessment and Treatment virtual event in July.  This will be a two-day virtual event.

Expect to see blog posts from me here once a month.   Also, please tune into my podcast which will be starting shortly.  It is called “Realtime Health News with Matt Pratt-Hyatt.”  I am also starting a short video series called Mondays with Mold-Man Matt.  We will be posting these on Instagram and TikTok. 

RTL will continue to provide great testing with quick turnaround times.  We will also continue to provide consultations with patients and practitioners.  I will be starting to provide consultations with practitioners beginning next week.  I have been consulting with practitioners for the last four years and I really love the interactions that these opportunities present, so please call us, and set up an appointment.  I will also be traveling around the country to multiple conferences, speaking both at the podium and with attendees at RTL’s booth.   Please stop by and say hello – I’d love to chat.
